Ryan O’Connor leads ACMT’s Human Resources team, where he focuses on strengthening company culture and building HR systems that support both employee growth and organizational success. He is passionate about building a strong people centered organization.
Ryan’s expertise includes compensation planning, 401(K) and benefits design, and organizational development. He is motivated by being part of a successful company that meets its goals and reinvests in its people, creating meaningful opportunities for employees to grow, develop, and build long-term careers.
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!) He started his career in banking before transitioning into the manufacturing industry. Prior to joining ACMT, Ryan served as HR Manager for Global Steering Systems and Cadrex Agawam.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending UConn events, and staying active. His interests include playing soccer, chess, collecting basketball cards, and endurance running. Ryan has previously completed marathons and is looking forward to returning to long distance running as his children grow older.
